The Resurrection [Matt. 27:62-66], from the set of The Passion of Christ consisting of fourteen plates engraved by Hieronymus Wierix after Maarten de Vos and published before 1586. Inscribed below: POST TERTIVM DIEM RESVRGIT A MORTVIS. 16. Engraving on paper trimmed close to plate mark, total: 147 x 103 mm; state II/2; very nice impression despite some damp staining; Hollstein 294, Mauquoy-Hendrickx 160.
