This book figures large parts of the South American land snail fauna (as well as some of the South American freshwater gastropods and unionids) with a focus on larger shelled species. The book is not intended to be a scientific revision, but to help land-shell collectors with the identification of their species. A special focus is on the fauna of Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile.
