Portrait of Suitbertus Purmerent, bust directed to the left, head slightly turned to face the viewer, wearing a flat white collar and a skull-cap; within lettered oval; after Hendrik Cornelisz van Vliet; illustration to Frans van Mieris, Kerkelijke Historie en Outheden der Zeven Vereenigde Provincien (Dirk Haak, Samuel Luchtmans & Johannes Arnoldus Langerak: Leiden, 1726). Lettered with a description of the sitter around the oval: 'Adm. Reverend. et Ervditissim. ... Nonas Febrvarii A. D. MDCL.'; lettered with four lines of Dutch verse below the portrait: 'Dees Herder flaewde ... ouderdom en Jeucht.'; lettered 'Pars 11. Pag. 226.' below.
