NO AUTHOR - Souvenir of Kingston (Ontario]Montreal: The Valentine & Sons United Publishing Coy, Ltd, 1911. First Edition. Paperback. 32 unnumbered pages featuring 31 full-page colour images of significant local buildings and scenes. Undated, but appears to be circa 1911 as today's Queen's University is referred to as Queen's College, a name under which it operated until 1912. At the time of publication the population of Kingston was a mere 20,000 souls, a tramway ran down the middle of Princess St, and horses were the prime means of transportation. Printed upon glossy stock. Unmarked with moderate wear to brown card covers. Oblong 20.5 x 13.5cm. As the publisher was best-known for its postcards, this booklet is probably a compilation of the images which appeared on the company's postcards featuring Kingston and district. A well-preserved example of this charming vintage Kingston memento.; 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall; Kingston Ontario - pictorial Works, Queen's University, RMC, Royal Military College, Fort Henry,.
