Volume One: later printing; Volume Two: first edition. 8vo. dark green cloth, spines lettered and decorated in gilt, frontis portrait of Webster in Volume One. Ex-library, no external marks. Pencil ownership. Sun to spines, with wear to heels and crowns, including a shallow chip to the crown of Volume One. Mild wear, bumps to extremes else, and mild rubbing to boards, with a touch of bubbling to the cloth at one front board. Hinges starting. Good plus copies, with clean texts, and just slight wear to a few fore-edges. .
