Copperplate engraving of the Dutch province Zeeland.This print originates from ‘Lodovico Guicciardini, Descrittione di tutti i Paesi bassi (…)', 1581. This was an influential account of the history and the arts of the Low Countries, accompanied by city maps by various leading engravers. Overall size ca. 295 x 375 mm, plate size 235 x 310 cm; yellowed/foxing, formerly folded twice.
