Eighth print of a set of thirteen pictures with villages and castles from the province of Utrecht that were destroyed by the French in 1672. Signature at the bottom left faded or scratched from the plate. Titled on flying ribbon in the sky: 'De Schans aen Iutfaes'. Etching on paper with margins; plate mark: 157 x 257 mm, total: 174 x 264 mm; included in Th. van Domselaer 'Het Ontroerde Nederlandt', published between 1674/76. Only state known, Hollstein 12, M 2365, v. Stolk 2550.
