Thomas Dale was a priest, poet and theologian of the 18th and 19th centuries. Handsomely bound in a full diced calf binding, with gilt detailing and marbled endpapers. With an ink inscription to the front blank, that reads 'E. M. Davey. Christmas 1847. German Prize&apos. In a full diced calf binding. Externally generally smart, with light patches of rubbing to the spine, joints and extremities. Ink inscription to the front blanks. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Overall condition is impacted by the external condition. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
