Held in the original paper covered slipcase. Slipcase in a very good condition. The Hamburg America Line was a transatlantic shipping enterprise. It was established in Hamburg in 1847. It connected the European ports with the North American ports, though it eventually expanded to establish lines to all continents. This work shows some of the line's most important liners, such as 'Imperator', 'Vaterland', and 'Bismarck', showing various scenes along the routes of the liners. With an illustration to each page. Undated, dated from WorldCat. In the original publisher's leather binding, in imitation crocodile, held in the original paper covered slipcase. Externally, smart. A little rubbing and a couple of light marks to the boards. Slipcase with marks to the boards, and light bumping to the extremities. Small tear to the slipcase. Front hinge is starting but firm.
