Large 4to. 86 pp. Original printed wrappers. = Written by Paul Portier who in the same year saw his "Physiologie des animaux marins" published by Flammarion in the Bibliothèque de Philosophie Scientifique. Contains notes on the physiology of various fish and invertebrates, for instance the body temperature of fish as compared to the serrounding sea water temperature. Uncut. Wrappers rather stained on top and with a tear in front wrapper. Lower right edge bumped. A good copy.
