Boston: Whitefield & Crocker, 1882. 72 tinted lithographic views on 28 [of 33] plates, identified below the image, sometimes with a brief descriptive text. Small 4to. pebbled green cloth, lettered in gilt, a.e.g. bevelled edges. Ex-library, slight erasure to spine the only external mark, and a bookplate and a couple of blind-stamped seals within. Cloth bears some mild soil, with scuffing to the rear board; top edges bumped with touch of wear to cloth at extremes. Front hinge cracked, with title page starting at top-edge. Clean illustrations, and the volume is in very good condition overall, but lacks three plates. .
