London: Bradbury and Evans, 1849, 1850. In two volumes. 8vo. half-bound brown calf over marbled paper-covered boards, marbled edges. Ink ownership. As is: worn boards starting at volume I, which lacks the spine; ffep and fly-leaf starting, with some discolouration to title page, slight dampstain to one plate at edges. Spine of volume II is discoloured from fire. Internally, some occasional foxing, darkening to paper, slight offsetting from illustrations to text, but overall, these are serviceable, tight text blocks. A candidate for re-binding. .
