Compiled from Authentic sources by John Watkins, LL.D. London: Fisher, Son & Jackson, 1831. First edition. 8vo. full leather, skillfully rebacked with the bulk of the original spine laid down. Ex-library, no external marks. Slight edgewear, and the expected rubbing to boards; internally, both ffeps are re-inforced with clear tape at the edges, and five of eleven plates are lacking. A nice plate of the opening of London Bridge remains, slightly chipped at the edges, (with slight loss of text), rather clumsily reinforced with tape. Moderately foxed throughout, but a tight, serviceable text block overall. .
