This fascinating work of Indian history is a collection of writings from The Waqai (a Persian newsletter) between the period 1660 to 1671. The work offers an unusual insight into the administration and economic conditions of the Deccan ( a large plateau in western and southern India) in the seventeenth century from a prominent academic and researcher in the subject. In the publisher's green cloth binding. Externally very smart with some slight bumping to the extremities and the head and tail of the spine. Hinges very slightly strained but firm.
