Spine with five raised bands and gilt title. Marbled endpapers. Speckled edges. Seldom seen publication on shrimps and shrimp culture, with a plan to build a large shrimp-farm in Neviers. A contemporary bound copy, such as this one, is definitely rare. Old owner' s stamp of the French crustacean specialist Adrien [Frédéric Jules] Dollfus (1858-1921) on title page, a four page catalogue of the publisher cut out. Otherwise a good, complete, and clean copy.
