Boards and spine are intact with light shelfwear but except for the endpapersl, the pages havel separated from the glued binding. Some light spotting to preliminaries. The frontispiece has horizontal tear to the top edge border (well above the photograph) . Gilt top edge. All other photographs are crisp clean and bright. A massive 15.6 lbs. Birch was an architect and curator of the Soane Museum in London. ; 166 pages. Very Good with No dust jacket as issued .
