Dedicated by the author on the front cover to Chevallier Jean Baptiste - or Giovanni Battista - Vérany (1800-1865) in Nice. Separately paginated offprint with wide margins. A few spots to the plates but mostly marginal, text clean. A very good copy. DSB IX, pp. 567-574.
