Red linen hardcover with gilded front title (Milton's Verloren Paradijs) and blind stamped decoration. The book is in good condition with exception of a few pages that are stuck together and some minor restorations on the edges. 24 x 33 cm, [xii] 1-329 [0] pp. The book contains 28 full-page engravings. Paradise Lost (1667/12 books version 1674) is an epic poem in blank verse written by the English poet John Milton (1608-1674). The main subject is the biblical story of Adam and Eve and how they got expelled from paradise. B2347
