The photo shoot is never what he expected, model and photographer always have different expectations. The model actually wants sex while Jan Hoek wants to shoot the dog. The model tries to be as glamorous as possible, while Jan wants to picture the decay. Photographing is not just about the image but also the relationship between the photographer and the model. How far can you go with your models? In the accompanying film, Me & My Models, Jan talks about the nasty, funny, painful or touching things that happen around photographing people. Jan Hoek (1984) is an artist and writer. At the age of 12 he published his first text. He wrote for Spunk, Mister Motley, ELLE girl, Club Donny, NRC Handelsblad, nrc.next, Parool, L?GAY, PSY and Vice. At the age of 24 Jan Hoek started at the Image and Language department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. In 2012 he graduated with the film Me & My Models. RARE.

Terms of Sale

Books are in very good or better condition unless otherwise described. Prices are in euro; postage is allways extra. Books remain our property until paid. You will receive an invoice for doing so. Payments by bank account or paypal.
Each purchase can be returned to the seller within 7 days after reception, without explanation (an e-mail to notify the seller would be appreciated however), after which the billed amount (excluding postage costs) will be restituted to the buyer. If the buyer returns the goods to the seller because the description of the books is not conform the actual condition of the goods then the billed amount including the postage costs will be restituted to the buyer. Returned goods should be received by the seller in the same condition as when sent to the buyer. The risk of returning goods is for the account of the sender.

De beschrijvingen zijn vrij beknopt. De boeken verkeren in goede staat tenzij anders vermeld. Prijzen zijn in euro. Verzendkosten zijn voor rekening van de koper. Betaling binnen 30 dagen. De boeken blijven ons eigendom tot de factuur is voldaan. Betalingen per bank of m.b.v. paypal. Bestellingen worden verwerkt in volgorde van binnenkomst. Boeken alleen op afspraak af te halen.

Elke aankoop kan binnen 7 dagen na ontvangst, zonder opgaaf van reden, aan verkoper retour gezonden worden (een voorafgaande kennisgeving per email wordt op prijs gesteld), waarna restitutie van het aankoopbedrag (niet de verzendkosten) volgt. Is de retourzending een gevolg van een onvolledige beschrijving dan wordt het aankoopbedrag inclusief verzendkosten en retourporto terugbetaald. Retourzendingen dienen verkoper te bereiken in dezelfde staat als waarin ze aan koper verzonden werden. Het risico van retourzendingen is nadrukkelijk voor de afzender.
