Contemporary black half cloth over marbled boards, typed label on spine. = Important contribution to the fresh water molluscs of Celebes (Sulawesi), Indonesia with the descriptions and illustrations of new genera and species. Bookplate of the Swiss malacologist Eugen Paravicini (1889-1945) with a Buddha figure, and library stamp on front past-down, stamps of Caesar Boettger and Herbert Ant on title page. Some light, mostly marginal spotting to first two plates. A very good copy. Rare.
