FIRST EDITION. 2 volumes. 8vo, pp. [xii], 308; [ii], 262, rebound in mid-20th century half calf, morocco labels, marbled boards; spines a little faded, but a nice set from the library of Eric Quayle, with his small bookplate on the front paste-down end-paper, with a note to the effect that he had it rebound. A supplementary third volume was published in 1750, and all three volumes were re-issued as a second edition in 1751.
