1926. WELLS, H. G. THE WORLD OF WILLIAM CLISSOLD. A Novel at a New Angle. In Two Volumes. New York: George H. Doran Company, (1926). First American edition. 8vo. green cloth with upper board stamped in blind and spine lettered in gilt. Both volumes are in fine condition with the exception of a little mottling to the spine and boards from sun and damp. The dustwrappers are quite fresh and bright with the exception of slight internal damp spot on one spine. Overall a very collectible set in the uncommon box (with printed label) which has a small chip and is starting to spilt. .
