Egypt, s.d. (ca. 1895), oblong album 38 x 28 cm, bound in brown quarter roan, silky endpapers, contains 26 cardboard-mounted original photographs. Size 240 x 295 mm. Most of the photographs are signed, numbered and with a title caption in the negative. The photographs don't show any fading of soiling, but the boards on which the pictures are mounted are uniformly warped.. The album with the photographs is, apart from a weak upper joint , in very good condtion. We calculate the album at an approx. price of 80 Euro per picture. A complete list of the pictures, with photo number and photographer (in sofar as identified) in format Excell can be had upon e-mail request (we don't send pictures).
