Yellow soft cover boards w/ printed title, with 28 original wood-cuts of Le Meilleur (1872-1955). A very nice copy. Henry Duvernois, was the pen name of the writer Henri-Simon Schwabacher (Paris, 4 March 1875 - Paris, 30 Jan. 1937). From this old-fashioned melodrama was made in 1931 " a movie with the same title directed by Raymond Bernard, the son of Tristan Bernard.
