7. Bruxelles, Vers L'Art, 1906-1910, large in-4°, 32 x 22,5 cm, Year 1906 - 1907 and 1910 ( first , second and fifth year of publication). The monthly issues were published as loose leaves and plates ( 6 fine plates per issue). The text is of a technical nature ; 4 pp per issue. The periodical existed until its 8th year ( 1914 ) issue 3. This is an extremely rare Brussels' architectural periodical published at the height of the Art Nouveau style in Belgium. The fine pictures illustrate mostly newly built private houses, some with interior views and groundfloors. AVAILABLE: 1st year (1906) original publisher's green cloth portfolio with the text leaves and the 70 plates as issued ( missing are the plates 23 , 31 and 32). The plates numbered 46 and 47 were never issued. (flaps of the portfolio partly loose or detached) 2nd year ( 1907) original publisher's green cloth portfolio with the text leaves and the 70 plates as issued , plates numbered 71-144 ( missing are 9 plates 73-78 ; and 130-132. (flaps of the portfolio partly loose or detached). Added are the texts of issue 10 (3rd year - 1908) ; issues 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, & 9 of the 4th year (1909) and the publisher's portfolio with all the texts of the 5th year (1910) . Added are the plates of most of these years. Due to the lack of an index the plates cannot be attributed to a specific year. Set 1. Plates 1-72 missing plates 3 , 9, 27, 36, 37, 38, 48. Set 2. Plates 1-72 missing plates 2->7 ; and 50 Set 3. Plates 1-66 missing plates 14,15,16 26, 30, 34, 35, 37->40, 42. In all this offer comprises over 300 architectural plates exclusively of ''Art Nouveau'' buildings mostly in Brussels and mostly of private houses. Sold with all faults and not subject to return ( due to the lack of some plates and the sometimes uncertain collation of the plate numbering).. .
