Prize label to verso of the front board dated 1900, for Reginald Pile. Binder's stamp to verso of the front endpaper: "Relfe Brothers, Limited, London." Clean text and illustrations throughout. VG. ** Family history records sho that Reginald Pile was born in 1896 in Bures St. Mary, the son of Teacher: James J. Pile. By the1911 census he had married Myra and was running an Iron Mongers in Exmouth, Devon.
