Part of a series of Portraits of Reformation figures in England, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and France and anti-Reformation figures in Italy, at least one of which was made into a lithograph published by H. J. Meidinger. From a German collection that included the original charcoal drawings for the series. Huldrych Zwingli[a] or Ulrich Zwingli (1 1484 – 1531) was a leader of the Reformation in Switzerland. .
