ROCHESTER. (PARSONS (Thomas [sic, for Robert]): - A Sermon Preach'd at the Funeral Of the Right Honourable John Earl of Rochester, who Died at Woodstock-Park, July 26. 1680. and was Buried at Spilsbury in Oxfordshire, Aug. 9. By Thomas [sic] Parsons, M. A. Chaplain to the Right Honourable Anne Countess-Dowager of Rochester. The Fourteenth Edition.

London: Printed for Richard Baldwin..., n. d., [1765]. 8vo (in 4s), pp. 31 [32 adverts], disbound; title-page almost detached at inner margin. Parsons' sermon was first published in 1680 and frequently reprinted. Here the title-page adds a long homily above the imprint about the publication of Rochester's poems. ESTC T87649 locates copies at L, C, and O, but notes, probably inaccurately, "The author's name is given incorrectly on the titlepage; by Robert Parsons, Rector of Oddington." Robert Parsons is, of course, correct, but he is not described in this copy as "Rector of Oddington."
