Original blue cloth with gilt title on the spine. = An excellent general introduction to the morphology, anatomy, zoology, and systematics of this glarge and diverse group of annelid worms which includes the common earthworms. John Stephenson (1871-1933) was the leading expert on this group in the early 20th century. Ex library copy with stamp on titlepage (recto, verso), first preface leaf and table of contents. Binding rather weak. Otherwise a good copy. Uncommon.
