The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light rubbing and wear. The text pages are clean and bright. The book is heavy on photographs of skateboarders doing their thing, along with advertising around skateboards, etc. "From what started as a hobby in 2003, Rob and Reija Collinson have taken their San Francisco based 'zine and grown it into an internationally distributed skateboard magazine. "The first issue was a ten page xerox 'zine, which I made at work," Rob explained. With limited funds and self-admittedly mediocre photo skills, Rob and his now wife Reija kept on putting out issues of Lowcard. Issue 39 of Lowcard. Lowcard"It was really a slow process growing -- first doing it out of our small apartment to a bigger spot and bigger and so on," Reija said. "Around 2005, I could see that people were really excited about we were doing." That's when they made the jump from xerox to glossy magazine print. As media contributors and interest grew, so did the attention of companies who began advertising.
