Interestingly, tipped to blank leaf facing title page is a "United States Savings Bond" 5-cent stamp First Day Cover bearing the rubberstamped signature of Texas and senator and Democratic vice-presidential candidate Bentsen (1921-2006), who provides the book's preface. Robert Malott (1926-2018) was a noted Chicago business leader, CEO of FMC Corporation, Republican politico and philanthropist. .
