Published a month after the first edition. Dorling's account is analagous to 'The Cruel Sea' in that it is fiction closely based on personal experience. One of the few works of fiction admitted by Law to the standard bibliography. ALL EARLY PRINTINGS ARE SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION. Law, 1877.
