President Woodrow Wilson's first grandchild (son of his daughter Jessie) was born in the White House; he became an outspoken Episcopal clergyman and for 27 years served as Dean of the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC. Large, bold signature and date ("June 1979") in black ballpoint on a 4½" X 6" slip bearing, appropriately enough, "The Wilson Center" imprinted along top in brown. Near fine. Bold example penned the year after his retirement as Dean. .
