In this collection, there are about 30 photos of different planes, (even a couple "in flight" shots" and about 10 photos of Portland and the train cars they took to Seattle. The compiler also took a few candid photos of pilot extraordinaire Bob Hoover. He was obviously star struck as the photos consist of Mr. Hoover speaking, standing in crowd and sitting in a car! No close ups, ha! "Robert Anderson "Bob" Hoover (January 24, 1922 – October 25, 2016) was a United States Army Air Forces fighter pilot in World War II, USAF and civilian test pilot after the war, flight instructor, aviation record-setter, and air show pilot for nearly 50 years until his retirement in 1999. Known as the "pilot's pilot", Hoover revolutionized modern aerobatic flying and has been described in many aviation circles as one of the greatest pilots ever to have lived." [wiki].
