Methuen,, [1948]. 8vo., First Edition, with frontispiece, 15 sepia-toned plates, full-page map in the text and front endpaper map, tiny contemporary signature on front free endpaper; yellow cloth, upper board blocked in gilt, gilt back, top lightly dust-soiled else a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter with small loss (not affecting lettering) at head of backstrip and at bottom of front panel. One of the scarcest of Morton's works, particularly so in the dustwrapper by J. van Rensburg. Fields & Devenish 35.
