Laid in is a sales ticket from an Antiquarian bookshop in Brno dated 1979. Hardback , no dustjacket. ¶ A poem entitled 'The Diary of One Who Disappeared' which was published anonymously in a Czech newspaper in 1916. The poem made a lasting impression on the composer Leoš Janácek who worked them into a song cycle. This edition was specially published to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Ceskoslovenské Republiky A Vystavy Soudobé Kultury ( Czechoslovak Republic Exhibition of Contemporary Culture ) in Brno.
