Fully illustrated in colour: 4 plates and many illustrations by Jordic (see Bénézit: George Jordic-Pignon, peintre et illustrateur de livres pour enfants, né à Philippeville (Algérie) 1876 - mort en combattant 1915). - Children book printed by Brepols, Turnhout (Belgium). - First line: "Ketje est une petite bonne hollandaise". This album is a so-called text comic, like Bécassine "une petite bonne Bretonne", published at the time of the birth of the modern "bande dessinée". -Nice copy, in this condition very rare.
