Between John Snowden of Sudbury, gentleman, and Alice Brereton Andrewes of Sudbury, spinster. For a parcel of building land near the church in Great Cornard, with a frontage towards the High Road leading from Sudbury to Bures St. Mary. Presently used as a garden formerly in the occupation of John Snowden. ** Family history records show: Miss Alice [Beeton] Brereton Andrewes. Born 1847 Sudbury, Suffolk. Baptised 23 June 1847 St. Peter, Sudbury. Died 15th August 1927 Daughter of Sudbury-born Solicitor & Alderman George William Andrewes and his wife Mary. 1851 Census: Friars Street, Sudbury. With parents; four sisters; a Groom; a Cook; Housemaid; and two Nursemaids.1861 Census: Friars Street, Sudbury. With widowed father; six sisters; one brother; a Governess; a Cook; Housemaid; and two Nursemaids. 1871 - 1911 Census: 67 Friars Street, Sudbury.
