The set is internaly bright with minimial foxing, however, the bindings are shaken, dry and chipped, overall Good only. Slipped in into volume one is Captain Marryat's presentation card. The owner's ink inscription in volume one notes the date Marryat presented this set to that contemporaneous owner.
