Important, mainly statistical, work on the plankton (mainly diatoms, crustaceans, etc.) of the Arctic Seas and recent changes in their population and resulting in weather changes in Europe. Published as part of the "Crosière océanographique accomplie a bord de la Belgica dans la Mer du Grönland 1905" (Duc d'Orléans). Signed by the first author on half title. Label on spine foot, vague stamps on front wrapper. Wrappers much frayed and chipped at edges, otherwise a good, uncut copy. Rare.
