New York: Justine Schiller Antiquarian Booksellers Ltd., 1982. Canvas bag produced for Justin Schiller with a design by Maurice Sendak from Where the Wild Things Are, dated copyright 1982. I'm not sure if it an image from the book of specially done for Schiller as I know that they had a close relationship and Schiller did exhibitions and the like for Sendak. 300 x 210 mm. plus handles, with a gusset, opening out to around 250 mm. It looks like it has never been used and has probably been in storage for 40 years. "FYI Maurice had done the design in 1967 as a spot image for The Bodley Head first British edition of WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE.
