Navy blue calf over thin boards with gilt fillet border. Just light rubbing to corners and edges. Smooth spine with bright gilt panelling and bright gilt titles. All page edges bright gilt. With purple silk marker ribbon. Mottled blue endpapers. Neat dediction to front endpaper dated July 1931. Portrait frontis and clean text throughout. A very good book. The box has the original label:" 'Oxford ' Editions of Standard Authors Longfellow. No. 7." The label has stains from adhesive tape. The box has ben previously repaired, all edges very rubbed. VG.
