London: Longman & Co., Simpkin & Marshall, [1838] 2nd edition. 8vo. vi[2], 147pp, engraved frontis with browned tissue-guard, 8 further engraved plates with guards, hand-coloured folding map, folding regulations chart. Original decorated blind-stamped green grained-cloth gilt, patterned endpapers, aeg. Binder's ticket to rear paste-down. Spine a little browned; spotting and browning to frontis. All in all, a most attractive copy. Date and edition from preface. The multi-folding chart at rear seems not to have been present in the first edition. Ottley 6453.
