[Cookery / California] - DINNER At CHARLEY BROWN'S. [Restaurant Menu] (n. p.): [Charley Brown's], 1968. Light tan cardstock printed in green, brown and black. Now housed in a clear archival mylar sleeve. Broadside. 12-5/8" x 8-1/2" Menu most likely from a southern California Charley Brown's restaurant: three such locations had opened by 1968, the latest being in West Covina. The menu features the chain's much-vaunted no-frills fare comprised of only steak, lobster, a few small sides, and salad to start; wines listed are claret, rose and chablis, sold in full or half-bottles. Faint coffee ring/stain and spotting. Crisp. VG.
