Folio. pp. iii [dedication], [blank], iv [preface], ii [An Ode in Praise of Kent], iv [list of subscribers], 592, xl [index and additions]> two portrait frontispieces, folding map with the arms of the subscribers, 42 other plates, most folding after J. Kipp and T. Badeslade. [Complete] Contemporary panelled calf, later reback and some minor restoration to the corners. The first page of the preface has an old repaired tear and the original portrait frontispiece has an old abrasion. A later issue of the frontispiece, separately published and printed by J. Smith in Exeter Change is bound in as a duplicate. With the bookplate of Cecil Foljambe, First Earl of Liverpool. All published, being issued shortly after the author's death, this publication is particularly noteworthy for the attractive engraved map, often removed for display, and the fine large views of Kent country houses and estates.
