Printed by B. McMillan, printer to the Royal Academy, 1815. Broadside, 330 x 205 mm. The R.A. was founded in 1768 with Joshua Reynolds as the first President. She had a brief affair with Richard Cosway [listed here] in 1793, travelling with him for 6 months on a sketching tour, before returning and marrying Captain Hugh Lloyd, the widower of a friend. After her death in 1819 no further women members were elected as full members of the Academy until Dame Laura Knight in 1936.
