At the close of 'The Colonel's Children' "it seemed that Colonel Bigua's end had come. But unknown to him his jump over-board had been observed by one of the officers. 'The Survivor' opens with the story of his rescue in mid-Atlantic. It tells how he and his wife and strangely collected foster family landed in his native South American land, and of the curious adventures that then befell them." Pp.135, browning to pages. Red cloth, illustrated dustwrapper (design by Alex Jardine) has edge wear and losses with 1" loss to base of spine and smaller loss to top of spine, Good/Fair.
