Third volume of memoirs, continuing on from the author's return from Berlin after the declaration of war on August 4th 1914 and ending in Palestine in 1926. Pp.xviii/361, black & white portrait frontispiece + 14 further black & white plates + map of the Sulva Landing. Blue cloth, gilt title to spine. Dustwrapper has old tape mark to spine and small edge tears with minor losses to top of spine and rear. VG/G+. ** Henry W Nevinson (1856 – 1941) was a British campaigning journalist. He was known for his reporting on the Second Boer War, and slavery in Angola. He was also a suffragist, being one of the founders in 1907 of the Men's League for Women's Suffrage.
