J GROENEWEGEN and A. VANDER HOECK [and JAMES MOETJENS] - Bookplates.

c. 1725. and later. 2 engraved bookplates, each 125 x 80 mm. J. Groenewegen and A. Vander Hoeck, booksellers in the Strand at the sign of Horace were active from 1715 to c. 1728, after which Vander Hoeck continued on his own. Some time after that date James Moetjens appears to have taken over the premises, using the same bookplate, reworked with his own name.
