c. 1888? Trade card, 80 x 115 mm. This item may have at some time been mounted and will bear traces on the reverse of adhesive or removal of mounts. Jaeger's was established by Lewis Tomalin following the theories of Dr. Gustav Jaeger regarding animal fibres next to the skin> a practice followedby George Bernard Shaw and the explorer Ernest Shackleton. They received their Royal Warrant in 1910.
